It’s time we talked about how our skin is being hurt by the a changing climate. In particular, the warming of the earth. If you were a person who did nothing and splashed water on your face you are probably noticing how your skin is dull and frankly, not happy. Even folks in their 20’s who were religious about moisturizers and cleansing – even they are having difficulty with keeping their skin healthy with the impact of environmental damages. What’s a person to do? Change your routine. Change your products. Protect your skin and consider that eating clean and healthy should also be combined with taking care of the outside – our skin surface. We need new skincare for a changing climate.
A New Solution for Starved Skin
This is why I’ve developed a new skincare line. Finding the right components has not been difficult. What is difficult is influencing people to do more for their skin. Their routines from early teenage years simply don’t matter any longer. Winds, sun, temperature, dirt and debris from our environment – all these factors really will damage your skin if you do nothing. One day you look in the mirror and you don’t recognize that face – it’s weathered. That’s the best term to describe it now. A weathered appearance is happening to women in their 30’s! Let’s see if we can stop this from happening to you!
In this 1st Quarter I will be introducing 2 new products that should help with your existing skincare routine. They will take your skin in a positively glowing trajectory. They will be sold directly here on Atomic Vogue or on the Etsy platform.
For now, take a look at your skincare routine. Are you washing away debris in the evening after being exposed to debris during the day? That’s very important. More than a morning wash, an end of the evening cleanse allows dirt to fall away so that your evening moisturizer can penetrate and keep your skin soft and glowing. These are very important steps!
And remember, while you are saying in your head right now “but I’ve always used . . . ” or “I can’t disappoint my sales lady from [insert mlm product here]” you’ve got to make these changes for you. Feed your skin the nourishment it craves and ditch the so-so products that barely keep you looking well.
The new name? It’s Atomic Vogue Skincare and it will be featured here on my Atomic Vogue site. I did look for other names, but everything that made sense with a changing climate emphasis in a domain was taken. By simply adding to this existing website you will find information on other subjects that might be of interest to you. By keeping things together – it is convenient and I don’t have to develop another site!
